Beekeeping Training

The main benefit of beekeeping is that it gives honey which is the most significant nutritious food. It provides an important source of income for many rural livelihoods. The advantage of beekeeping includes pollination and to help bees. we encourage and give bee-keeping training to promote positive results in the community which can bring benefits in so many ways.

Distribution of Rice and Daal

There are many people who are economically very weak and don’t even have the foods to eat for three times. Our focus remains to help them by distributing rice and daal so they can get the basic things to eat and also get the nutrition all human beings deserve. Our organization creates camps to distribute food to needy people which is among our primary responsibility.

Creating a drug-free reality

Drug addiction can cause many long and short-term issues along with problems on physical and mental levels. Impairment in many areas of a person’s life and legal consequences are also common. We are working with determination to create a drug-free society where human beings will be physically and mentally healthy. Our organization is looking for the victims of drug abuse to give them a better life for the future.

Women Empowerment

Gender equality is a very important topic when women play equally important roles in society and of course in the family. Mostly women face the inequitable distribution of domestic rights besides other responsibilities. We are driving camps to promote women’s empowerment in society and reduce the time poverty of women so they can get equal distribution in society. With that motive.

Assam Relief Distribution

We work for people in an emergency situation to give them the necessary things in a crisis. We believe it is a call of humanity and that’s among our responsibility to distribute the things like food and other help which could give people a helping hand. Millennium village Health Organization and Assam Rreleif distributed Rice and Dal Edible oil to a rural villages, In Sangaikot block.

Seminar About Agriculture

We arrange seminars regarding agriculture and allied works to encourage awareness about the importance of agriculture in our community. Our aim remains to create awareness about agriculture and spread knowledge about it among the people of rural areas. MVHO workers seminar regarding Agri and allied works. we arranged a seminar in a rural slum area of Manipur.MVHO workers seminar regarding Agri and allied works. Our director also visited Agri field for looking after agriculture.

Goat Farming

Millennium Village Health Organisation inspires “Goat farming” which involves the raising and breeding of domestic goats as a branch of animal husbandry. People farm goats principally for their meat, milk, fibre and skins. Goat farming can be very suited to production alongside other livestock (such as sheep and cattle) on low-quality grazing land. Goats efficiently convert sub-quality grazing matter that is less desirable for other livestock into quality lean meat. Furthermore, goats can be farmed with a relatively small area of pasture and with limited resources

Agri Farming

Millennium Village Health Organisation has taken a Project of Agri Farm is on a participatory approach where stakeholders list involves entrepreneurs at grass root level, rural community, financial institutions, state and central government and other developmental organization. This wide participation ensures the greater impact on overall society on a sustainable basis. Being the role of local community on priority in this project accountability will be ensured and the implementation will be in efficient mode.
